I write. It's one of the things I do that brings joy to me, but when I go to write about myself I just get plain stuck....so, here is my attempt at having you know me in just a few short paragraphs. Steven and I have owned our company since the Spring of 2007 when we were lucky enough to get a huge contract. That day we went out for coffee and decided on our company name. Day in and day out I feel so lucky to be working with my best friend and brother creating events where memories are created and those stories of the events are repeated over and over again. I love research, I am crazy about details, my mind connects people, places and ideas all together.
I do not ever wake up on a Monday morning and wish that I wasn't going to work. Ever...I promise.
For the first fourteen years of my working career, I was a school teacher and received a Master's Degree from Lesley College in Creative Arts in Education. During that time, Steven began to ask me to help with some of the events, I then started taking the lead on projects, and eventually worked on projects alone. As we were working through this process, Steven and I began to seriously talk about working together. Then, we got our big break.
Here we are...3 1/2 years later, with weddings, festivals, retirement parties, openings, Christmas parties, and other things under our belt. We recently moved into an office and I am loving having a skyline view of the mountains and an office outside of my house.
Currently I am Board Member of the Associate Member Council for the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver, member of the Colorado Festivals and Association, member of the Pioneer Education Foundation, Sunday School teacher, and a soccer/baseball/basketball mom.
These are the promises that I can make to you. I will care about your event as much as you do, really. If you need something, I can almost always find it. You can trust me ~ with your secrets or even to pick out the wedding invitations. I will be at your event before you get there and after you leave. I don't care if you want to know all the details, a few of them, or if you don't want to know anything at all...because I do.....I care. About it all.
