What Is Event Planning?
Planners of an event may handle any or all of the following tasks related to that event. Listed below are a few of the services we provide, but is by no means exhaustive.
- Conducting research
- Creating an event design
- Developing sponsorship packages and selling sponsorship for events
- Finding a site
- Arranging for food, decor and entertainment
- Planning transportation to and from the event
- Sending invitations to attendees
- Arranging any necessary accommodations for attendees
- Coordinating the activities of event personnel
- Supervising at the site
- Conducting evaluations of the event
How Do You Get Paid?
Depending on the type of event we are planning we get paid in one of three basic ways:
- Flat rate fee based on complexity of project
- Percentage of total budget (generally 15% - 25%)
- Hourly consulting fee with pre-arranged price for type of work
